Using collected recycled materials, Nadja, Malou and Mattias “glimpsed” the old Roma participants, creating specially designed costumes and props, transforming the old Roma in to their dream-professions.
Fortune Tellers Future art: Formverk
Stina and Niclas visited the Roma theater Suno e Rromengo in the village of Novi Karlovci to meet the actors, and to get the feeling of the Roma theater working environment. First they filmed the space, treating it as a part of the spirit of this teater. Then, Niclas and Stina made short movies with the Roma actors, having in mind their particular roles in the Fortune Tellers Future performances.

Especially for the Fortune Tellers Future project, Captain Sorrow & Primitive Dance recorded a music piece “Roma Dreams” inspired by the destiny of the Roma in Europe, made on digital and analog music instruments and sounds of railway stations and subway trains announcements from around Europe. Misko also made a set of pictures “Roma Dreams”.

It is a 18 minutes long piece involving dreamy electronic soundscapes, piano, theremin, moog synthesizers, loops, and sounds of the subway and railway stations from England, Sweden, Russia and Ukraine.
