A leading figure at the Centre since its establishment in 2008, Ruth-Anne directs the educational vision and strategy, oversees program delivery, drives innovation, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebeaconschool.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Beacon School<\/a> Programme, and created its Master&#8217;s degree module offer. Dr. Dreier has been director of the Austrian teacher training institute for Holocaust education <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erinnern.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Erinnern.at<\/a>\u00a0since its foundation in 2000. The Institute organizes teacher training courses and develops teaching materials on behalf of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmbwf.gv.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Austrian Ministry of Education<\/a>. Since 2001 Dr. Dreier is a member of the Austrian delegation to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holocaustremembrance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance IHRA<\/a>, where he is one of the most respected members of the Education Working Group. He has led research and publication projects, including historical learning with video interviews with contemporary witnesses. Dr. Dreier has been a consultant for history textbooks for many years and has published on antisemitism and questions related to learning about National Socialism and the Holocaust. Mi\u0161ko is a member of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holocaustremembrance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA)<\/a>, where he is a member of the Working Group for Education and the Committee for the Genocide of the Roma. He is the author and editor of several scientific papers and publications. Dr. Pisarri&#8217;s works on the suffering of the Roma during the Second World War, especially in the areas of the former Yugoslavia, are internationally well known. TOLI Institute<\/h2>\n<p>The TOLI Institute is a non-profit organization focused on creating programs for the education and professional development of teachers who teach about the Holocaust and human rights in the United States and Europe. TOLI was founded in order to continue the work of Olga Lengel, a woman who survived the Holocaust and who, through her work and involvement, contributed to the active education of future generations about the Holocaust and the understanding of the importance of education about the Holocaust to this day.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The life of Olga Lengel and her memoirs served as inspiration for the famous novel by William Styron and the film &#8220;Sofia&#8217;s Choice&#8221; by Alan Pakula, starring Meryl Streep.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>TOLI has been organizing seminars for teachers in Europe since 2012. Over 35 seminars have been organized in Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, Greece, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Lithuania, Ukraine, and Serbia. Groups of 30 to 40 teachers attended each seminar, so over 1000 teachers have participated in TOLI seminars so far.<\/p>\n<p>TOLI promotes teaching about the Holocaust and human rights using an interdisciplinary approach that allows students to learn about the Holocaust but also to learn from the Holocaust so that they can apply the acquired knowledge in their communities in order to solve the problem of discrimination, as well as to promote human rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teachers who participate in the program become part of the TOLI network of Holocaust educators. After participating in the program, teachers leave with strategies, materials, and ideas for implementing the program in their classrooms. Also, teachers have the opportunity to apply for the TOLI mini-grant program and receive scholarships and support for organizing local projects with their students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<style
