Svi tro\u0161kovi su pokriveni. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why do we continue to discuss the legacies of the Nazi regime and their collaborators across Europe today<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> How can we equip young people to critically engage with the history of the Holocaust and combat misinformation about the Second World War and its legacy<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In partnership with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/terraforming.org\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terraforming<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intercultural.ro\/en\/home-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intercultural Institute Timi\u0219oara<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/arolsen-archives.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arolsen Archives<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euroclio.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EuroClio &#8211; European Association of History Educators<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is embarking the project, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euroclio.eu\/projects\/facts-not-fiction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facts Not Fiction &#8211; Young Historians Show How to Learn from the Past<\/span><\/i><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which aims to empower history educators, museum educators, and other professionals and institutions in the field of memorialization, to train students and youth groups to research local histories of persecution during the Nazi era, and develop their own graphic novels, podcasts, or guided tours based on these findings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alongside museum educators, Facts Not Fiction have hosted training events for archivists, teachers and tour guides in addition to conducting workshops with students. Young people in several European countries will then have the chance to research specific local histories related to the Second World War and create their own end-products which may be a graphic novel, podcast, heritage tour or exhibition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Museum Educators and other professionals will have the chance to give feedback and guidance to students throughout the project and assist in students\u2019 local exhibitions of their chosen microhistories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>How can you apply to join us?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application period will open from mid-August. Please send us a letter of motivation detailing your interest in the project, including an explanation of relevant archives and<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\/<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or source materials you have worked with. Please also attach a copy of your CV and send both to <\/span> contact@terraforming.org\u00a0 <b>before September 8. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For applicants based in the Netherlands who don\u2019t have to travel, we will still be accepting applications later in September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What is covered?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will cover all expenses related to your travel to\/from The Hague, including accommodation and subsistence costs. The day of arrivals will be September 29 and the workshop will end on October 1 in the afternoon.
