Terraforming had an impactful participation at the meeting of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) in London. Terraforming's exhibition about educational graphic novels and the Holocaust in Serbia was successfully presented. After three years of work by an IHRA expert group led by Miško Stanišić, new Recommendations for Teaching and Learning about the Persecution and Genocide of Roma during the Nazi Era were adopted and presented.

A step towards understanding the importance of countering antisemitism in Serbia

The successful organization and implementation of the European Practitioners Network against Antisemitism (EPNA) meeting in Belgrade, along with the first official visit of the European Commission Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism, Katharina von Schnurbein, to the Republic of Serbia, was a significant step forward.

Visits and lectures: Jewish cemeteries of Vojvodina

With the support of the ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Terraforming and the Jewish Community of Novi Sad organized a series of visits to recently renovated old Jewish cemeteries in Kisač, Temerin, Erdevik, Stara Pazova and Ruma, with corresponding guided tours and lectures.

International Training for Podcasters

We are delighted to announce the call to join us at the Expert Training for Podcasters in the Hague, the Netherlands (11-12. November 2024). With this training we will build the capacity of professional podcasters that produce public history in the field of Holocaust history and education, foster peer-learning among professional podcasters, and develop educational animations for young people in order to show how podcasts can be used as a tool to produce public history.
