The project partners presented the HANNAH project, its activities, and results, including the screening of documentary films produced within the project during the meeting with local and international stakeholders In the Archives of Vojvodina.
June 17
Anna Wencel, Educator from Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow, and Stefan May, Project manager from Jugend- & Kulturprojekt JKPeV in Dresden, took part in the debate “Antisemitism in Times of Crisis, Disinformation and Fear” at the Cultural Center “Svilara” in Novi Sad. Anna Wencel mentioned the Hannah online Course (MOOK) “Jewish life and modern antisemitism” while Stefan May will presented the Digital Repository of Antisemitic Narratives.
Miško Stanišić, director of Terraforming opened the exhibition: Educational Graphic Novels about the Holocaust at the Cultural Center “Svilara” in Novi Sad.
June 18
Dr. Alexandra Patrikiou, Historian from the Jewish Museum of Greece in Athens will took part in the debate “The Future of Memory“, where she explained the Oral testimonies collected within the HANNAH project.
Katja Grosse-Sommer, Historian from CENTROPA in Hamburg will take part in the debate “Rebuilding the Life After the Holocaust – 80 Years Later: Achievements, Challenges, and Tasks for Future“, where she mentioned the HANNAH project as a good practice of an international coalition building and cooperation against antisemitism.
At the outdoor exhibition “Novi Sad the Capital of the Remembrance Culture” at the space next to the monument to the victims of the Novi Sad Raid, the HANNAH project and its various products and tools were presented on dedicated panels as an example of a contemporary approach to preserving memory and fostering education about the Jewish history, life, and culture.
June 19
In cooperation with the Jewish Community of Novi Sad and their program „Synagogue – the Meeting Point“ there was a music performance in Novi Sad Synagogue featuring The Hashira Choir, The Maayan Dance Group and The Kol Shel K’fir Quartet.
