International Workshops on the Memorialization of the Genocide of the Roma

As part of the international project "Pasostar ando Prastape – Breaking into a Gallop: An International Incubator for Rethinking and Innovation in Education about the Genocide of the Roma during the Nazi Era," two international workshops were conducted - first in Austrian Academy of Science in Vienna, and second in the Camp Westerbork Memorial Centre in June.

Inclusive memory culture of the Genocide of the Roma

We welcome schoolteachers, museum educators, and other professionals, whether or not you have prior experience about the persecution and genocide of the Roma, to register for the international workshop “Inclusive Education and Commemoration of the Genocide of the Roma”, taking place in Belgrade, Serbia, on October 8–9, 2025.

Empowering new multipliers

In addition to teachers, Terraforming works on engaging new multipliers in Holocaust education, such as librarians, museum curators, and archivists, by developing and providing teaching materials and methodologies, facilitating training programs, and international exchange of experiences and best practices.

Accredited Courses and Trainings

Terraforming offers free accredited courses and training programs, among others, about IHRA’s recommendations on Teaching and Learning about the Holocaust, memory culture and media literacy, contemporary antisemitism, and Holocaust distortion and abuse of history.

We protect historical facts through active remembrance of the Roma Victims

On August 2, we commemorate the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Genocide of the Sinti and Roma when we remember the victims of persecution, terror, and genocide against the Roma people throughout Europe.
